Cluster Engine Rocket Kits

Cluster engine kits are those that use two or more rocket engines that are ignited at the same time. The reason to perform a cluster is to have more thrust at lift-off so that you can loft a heavier rocket. But in reality, it is just a lot of fun to see a lot of smoke and fire at lift-off due to the extra motors.

For more information on building your own clustered engine model rockets, be sure to get the book: Model Rocket Design and Construction.

The kits on this page all use multiple rocket engines. You may need a special clip whip to hook up the motors and insure that they all ignite at the same time when you push the launch button.

Actual Customer Comment:

"The web site and information are 1st class. You obviously care much about the hobby. It would be nice if your prices were a little less than retail, but I prefer to purchase from someone involved and passionate about the hobby and provides all the info / comparisons that you do about each rocket, accessory, and component." -- Thomas Porcaro
