We now offer high-density cardstock that can be easily cut to create any size rings you need. This is the same high-quality cardstock that we use to make all the Apogee flat rings. It is stiff, strong (can be used to make rings even for high thrust G motors), and looks great! It can also be used for making fins on small diameter rockets, or to make the fin spacing and alignment guides that we recommend in the Building Skill Level 2 Model Rockets video book.
This cardstock is coated with glossy white paper on both sides of the sheet, so it won't absorb paint like a sponge. You'll save money on paint, and you'll get a great finish with a minimal amount of effort.
